Our take on Verlet Swing
The store presentation foregrounds the fever-dream setting and rapid swinging, but the package also includes 100 levels, challenge modes, leaderboards, and Steam Workshop support. The result is both a fixed obstacle course and a platform for additional player-created levels.
What is Verlet Swing?
Verlet Swing is an action game centered on fast hookshot swinging.
Players launch toward glowing spheres, move through hazardous surroundings, and try to reach each goal quickly without dying on impact. Reaching a destination leads to another similar world with more difficult obstacles. The game contains 100 levels, challenge modes, and increasingly difficult gameplay, with the final levels intended for highly skilled players. Global, friend, and Twitch leaderboards are included. Steam Workshop lets players create, share, and play levels. Twitch stream integration is also listed. The setting uses surreal imagery, including staring statues and worlds that change after teleportation.
