Our take on Duet
The two-sphere control scheme gives Duet a narrow mechanical focus, but that focus also leaves little room for broader combat, exploration, or character-based interaction.
What is Duet?
Duet is an action game about rotating two linked spheres around a shared center while avoiding falling obstacles.
Players turn left or right to move the pair through patterns that become more complex as the game progresses. The main campaign has nine story chapters, while the Epilogue adds eight chapters, more than 40 stages, new mechanics, narrative material, and remix tracks. Encore chapters provide additional challenges. Endless versions are available for the main game, Epilogue, and Encore, and Speed Run Mode focuses on rapid play. Stages can be replayed to refine movement and unlock more than 50 achievements. The game also includes a handcrafted soundtrack and full in-game vocal narration.
