Our take on Cubotrox
Instead of using a conventional board or tile grid, Cubotrox makes the whole screen part of the puzzle: falling cubes arrive from multiple directions, and rotating the play area becomes one of the solving actions.
What is Cubotrox?
Cubotrox is a puzzle game built around pixel art images.
Neon-colored cubes appear from different sides of the screen, and players catch, drop, and rotate them to complete each image. The screen can also be rotated, adding another layer to the cube-management process. As levels progress, challenges involve limited time, cube placement, and increasing cube frequency. The game includes more than 100 levels, with some based on titles such as Nuclear Throne, Enter the Gungeon, Elliot Quest, They Bleed Pixels, and Crypt of the NecroDancer. Global rankings track results for levels and the planned endless mode. Retro-futuristic neon visuals and synth-retro-wave music accompany the puzzles.
