Our take on Cubic Color
Its defining mechanic is the rising stream of colored cubes: matching each one with the player cube clears lines, while missed progress pushes the player toward the screen edge.
What is Cubic Color?
Match the player cube’s color with incoming cubes to clear lines and earn points.
Cubes arrive from below, while the player moves horizontally with the mouse, A and D keys, or arrow keys. The aim is to continue matching colors before the rising cubes force the player off the screen. The game uses a simple score-based structure with an open-ended distance challenge. It supports one-handed play through mouse or basic keyboard controls, and includes a Steam leaderboard and Steam achievements.
How Cubic Color plays
- 01Color Matching
- Incoming cubes are cleared by pairing them with a player cube of the same color.
- 02Keyboard Controls
- Movement is available through A, D, or the arrow keys, alongside mouse input.
- 03Steam Tracking
- Scores can be compared on a Steam leaderboard, with achievements also available.
