We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Shoot-em-up fans who want score chasing instead of a conventional stage-by-stage campaign
- Players who enjoy escalating speed and increasingly demanding survival runs
- Two-player local groups looking for a cooperative action game
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking multiple distinct stages may bounce off the single-level loop structure
- Players who prefer steady difficulty may hit a wall as speed rises sharply in later loops
- Solo players looking for a story-driven campaign may find the high-score format too narrow
- Players wanting a slower shooter may struggle with the escalating pace
Our take on Game Type DX
The bounce point arrives when repeated clears begin accelerating the entire game. Players who can manage the limited Time Pulse charges may continue into later loops, while those who prefer stable pacing can hit a wall around loop 5, with loop 8 described as extremely difficult.
What is Game Type DX?
This action shooter uses a single level that repeats, with each completed loop increasing the game speed and difficulty.
Players control Hoodie Girl while shooting sentient advertisements and collecting score drops. The Time Pulse power temporarily slows the action; destroying enemy bullets during this window turns them into cash, and destroying enough bullets can restore another pulse. The game becomes challenging around loop 5 and extremely difficult by loop 8. It also includes local two-player co-op, a weekly leaderboard, Steam Achievements, and parkour elements. Its structure focuses on surviving repeated loops, managing limited Time Pulse charges, and building a high score rather than progressing through a conventional series of shooter stages.

- 05Steam Achievements
- The game includes achievements on Steam.
