Our take on Water: Transformer
The form-switching system adds variety to movement and puzzle solving, but it also makes control part of the challenge. Steam flight is less forgiving than the other forms, so aerial sections trade direct handling for access to vertical routes.
What is Water: Transformer?
Water: Transformer is a platform-jumping game built around three changeable forms.
Liquid can jump, swim, and restore health. Solid can roll, float, smash obstacles, and trigger mechanisms. Steam can fly, but contact with walls or obstacles causes damage and its movement is harder to control. Progression through obstacles includes changing forms in midair, box-pushing challenges, electrical puzzles, and optical puzzles. A map editor lets players shape terrain by adjusting vertices and place platforms, obstacles, and mechanisms. Created maps can be shared with PC and mobile players. The game currently includes more than 2000 player-made maps.
