What is Valfaris?
Valfaris is a 2D action-platformer set in a fortress that has reappeared near a dying sun.
Therion returns to his home to investigate its fall and confront the evil at its center. Combat uses an array of weapons against enemies and bosses, while exploration takes Therion through varied corrupted environments. The game features hand-crafted pixel art and a soundtrack composed and recorded by Curt Victor Bryant. After completing the game once, Full Metal Mode lets players restart with their weapons and upgrades from the previous run. Enemies and bosses become tougher, bosses gain additional attack patterns, and Therion takes more damage. This mode also adds a Destroyer-class weapon and an achievement for completing it.
