Our take on Unrelaxing Quacks
Many survivors-style games build toward their challenge over time; this one applies pressure from the opening seconds and can increase it with each level-up. Instead of relying on gameplay-changing meta progression between runs, it centers learning the map and adapting to a rising in-run challenge.
What is Unrelaxing Quacks?
This fast-paced action game starts with enemies arriving within the first few seconds.
Defeating them earns experience for level-ups, which unlock weapons and upgrades; killing enemies quickly also makes them spawn faster. On real difficulty with corruption enabled, each level-up raises the challenge, and weapon and upgrade choices can increase it further. Players choose from 14 characters, most of whom have one life; a fallen character must be recovered before playing them again. Six game modes can be combined, including a 2-minute faster mode and options for beginners or increased corruption.
The map has zones, landmarks, teleports, and shops. Survive until the timer ends, then reach the gate to escape. Characters, modes, and achievements unlock permanently, but there is no gameplay-affecting meta progression.
