- Players looking for multiplayer shooting rather than a dungeon-crawling structure
Our take on Heavy Bullets
Rather than treating ammunition as disposable, the game makes each round something to reclaim and reload. Its dungeon structure also carries banking, shopping, and inheritance mechanics across attempts, while permanent death resets the run itself.
What is Heavy Bullets?
Heavy Bullets is a randomized first-person shooter dungeon crawler set in a colorful maze.
Each attempt begins with a revolver holding six bullets; fired rounds must be retrieved and loaded individually. Players move through eight levels while facing aggressive creatures and malfunctioning security drones. Items and perks, including bombs, teleporters, coin magnets, and high heels, alter each run, but only one item can be carried unless a backpack is found. Money can be deposited or withdrawn at banking machines, or spent in shops. Death is permanent, while Life Insurance and a Last Will can preserve selected resources for a later attempt when carried at death. The objective is to reset the security mainframe at the end of level 8.
How Heavy Bullets plays
- 01Recoverable Ammunition
- The revolver starts each run with six rounds, and every fired bullet must be found and loaded again by hand.
- 02Randomized Maze
- Each attempt uses a colorful dungeon layout populated by creatures and faulty defensive drones.
- 03Run-Altering Items
- Bombs, teleporters, coin magnets, high heels, and other perks provide different approaches, with one carried item allowed unless a backpack is found.
- 04Persistent Bank Funds
- Banking machines allow money to be stored between attempts or withdrawn for spending in facility shops.
- 05Resource Preservation
- Life Insurance and a Last Will can retain money, bullets, bombs, and keycards after a death when carried at that time.
Heavy Bullets compared to similar games
Abyssus is a multiplayer roguelite shooter built around fast-paced shooting action, hand-crafted levels, brine-powered weapons, and weapon refitting with ancient technologies. Heavy Bullets instead centers on randomized dungeon runs, six recoverable bullets, banking, shopping, and item-limited route planning.
