Our take on Urban Mage
The emphasis on speed, violence, and competition can make Urban Mage sound like a broad action game, but its structure is narrower: repeated timed score runs built around discovering interactions and maintaining combos. Exploration Mode provides a slower option, yet the central loop remains score improvement.
What is Urban Mage?
Urban Mage is a top-down score-attack game built around short timed runs.
Players control a dark mage who attacks people and destroys city objects with single clicks, searching for interactions that produce higher scores. Challenge Mode uses fixed targets that can be learned, while Random Mode changes the interactions between runs. Exploration Mode removes the timer for pressure-free discovery. Repeated attempts allow players to develop routes, maintain combos, and improve their results. Hidden secrets and unusual reactions add further scoring opportunities. Steam Leaderboards let players compare scores with friends. The game also includes a bundle featuring additional villain-protagonist games.
