Our take on Unholy
The weapon uses anger, fear, sadness, and desire as tools for changing the environment and affecting enemies.
What is Unholy?
Unholy is a horror game about searching for a missing child across two connected worlds: a bleak town in Eastern Europe and a grotesque society controlled by priests.
Exploration and puzzle solving are combined with stealth, infiltration, and shooting. A weapon uses four emotions—anger, fear, sadness, and desire—to affect the environment, such as breaking barriers, activating mechanisms, or lighting a path, and to distract or harm enemies. Masks shape interactions in the other world: a custom mask can provide skills, while other masks can be worn to impersonate opponents or confuse them. The story follows the search for clues and a confrontation with the society’s ruling establishment.
How Unholy plays
- 01Emotion-based weapon

- 02Mask-based infiltration
- Custom masks grant skills, while borrowed masks can disguise the wearer as an opponent.
- 03Two connected worlds
- The search moves between a bleak Eastern European town and a grotesque society ruled by priests.
