ActionIs Aerannis worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Stealth-action players who want assassination missions with traps and enemy deception
- Players who enjoy connected exploration tied to an unfolding conspiracy
- Action players who want stealth missions combined with large boss encounters
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a quiet stealth game may hit a wall when missions shift into fast, intense action and boss battles
- Players wanting a linear sequence of disconnected levels may find the interconnected world and linked missions too involved
- Players looking for a nonviolent adventure may not fit the assassination, hostage, and human-shield mechanics
Our take on Aerannis
The bounce point arrives when stealth gives way to intense action and large boss encounters. Players seeking a consistently quiet infiltration game may lose interest there, especially after missions introduce hostage-taking, human shields, traps, and assassination as connected parts of the same workflow.
What is Aerannis?
Set in Plovdiv in 2XXX, Aerannis follows assassin Ceyda Farhi through a city controlled by human- and monster-shaped entities after men and much of the surrounding population vanish.
She investigates the forces behind the disappearance through linked missions that gradually expose the setting’s conspiracy. Gameplay combines stealth, misleading foes, hostage situations, human shields, traps, and targeted killings. Large boss encounters add direct combat to the predominantly covert action. Exploration takes place across a connected world, supported by pixel-art visuals and a soundtrack.
How Aerannis plays
