Saves you a refund- Players who want a relaxed pace may hit a wall when oxygen is continually scarce and hostile station elements attack.

- Players looking for a crafting-focused survival game may find the stated tasks center more on investigation, repairs, and operating devices.
Our take on IKO 39
The likely sticking point is the combination of limited oxygen and visibility-reducing sandstorms: players who want time to explore may feel pressed before the station’s records can be examined. Hostile station elements add another source of interruption during the investigation.
What is IKO 39?
IKO 39 is an action-adventure game about engineer Casey’s trip to Morrow, where a station has lost contact with Earth.
The investigation centers on discovering what happened to the station and its inhabitants, with help from EMI, the station’s artificial intelligence. Progress involves finding batteries to repair the ship and dealing with a continuing oxygen shortage. Hostile elements on the station attack Casey, while sandstorms reduce visibility. The player also takes control of station equipment, including a drone, and examines holographic memory blocks and diaries left by the station manager. These tasks combine survival pressures with investigation as Casey works toward uncovering the station’s history.
