FolcDark is a dark third-person adventure combining action, fantasy, and Brazilian mythology.
The player looks for a missing sister alongside a Saci sealed inside a bottle, gaining supernatural powers for confronting foes and passing obstacles. Available abilities include creating hurricanes, teleporting, and using tears linked to Iara and Vitória Régia. The story places both characters inside a divine nightmare created by Tupã and other old gods to imprison beings that broke their laws. Encounters draw from Brazilian folklore, featuring Hairy Hands, Caruaras, Dry Bodies, Capelobos, Bradadores, and Mapinguaris. The journey also involves constructing the legendary headless mule and discovering the origin of her curse.
