Tyrfing Cycle is an action roguelike centered on rapid, reflex-based swordplay across Norse-inspired dungeons.
Every run reshuffles foes and objects, with platform layouts changing somewhat between attempts. Chapters contain stages that expand and become more maze-like as the journey advances. Hervor, a berserker, sets out to find her father Angantyr, the earlier bearer of Tyrfing. Her route passes through realms associated with the dead, giants, and dark elves while she exposes a scheme targeting the Norse gods. Players can combine the Tyrfing blade with auxiliary weapons, magic, upgrades, armor, sentinels, and souls. Defeating over 20 bosses awards tokens for the character profile, enabling additional progression.
