Our take on Two Strikes
Players who rely on repeating a familiar attack may hit a wall when opponents can read predictable moves. The pressure point is the duel’s timing loop: dashes must create an opening or disguise intent, while a decisive strike can end the exchange.
What is Two Strikes?
Set in Japan during the Sengoku Period, Two Strikes is a 2D fighting game about warriors brought together for a tournament after death.
Choose from 8 fighters, including samurai, warrior monks, outlaws, and peasants. Duels focus on movement and timing: dash closer to an opponent or evade an attack, then strike when the rival is within weapon range. Predictable attacks can be thwarted, so dashes can also conceal an intended move. Hand-drawn animation presents the combat, while the tournament gives the fighters a chance to return to the world of the living.
