Our take on One Strike
Rather than building rounds around repeated exchanges and accumulated damage, this fighter makes each duel hinge on one successful hit. Its matches are usually under 10 seconds, shifting the focus to quick decisions about attacking, defending, dodging, and baiting.
What is One Strike?
One Strike is a 2D fighting game set in medieval Japan, with six fighters to choose from.
Duels hinge on a single hit and usually last under 10 seconds, so players plan attacks, defend, dodge, and bait opponents into striking recklessly. Arcade Mode provides repeated matches for practice, while The Only Life challenges players to finish the game with one life. Team Duel uses teams of three fighters, and Tournament supports local brackets for up to 16 players. Local multiplayer enables couch matches with friends. Adjustable difficulty lets players set the challenge level. The game uses pixel-art visuals, with an original soundtrack and sound effects. Controller support includes PS4, Xbox, and generic gamepads.
