Our take on Troublemaker
Its defining format is a high-school beat-'em-up where campus life, relationships, homework, and a student fighting tournament share the same progression.
What is Troublemaker?
Troublemaker follows Budi, a transfer student at an Indonesian high school, through an annual fighting tournament called Raise Your Gang.
Gameplay combines beat-'em-up combat with school activities, relationships, homework, popularity, and exploration. Budi can use more than 30 moves and create combos by mixing Light, Heavy, Advanced, and Sick styles. His friends Rani, Zaenal, and Boby accompany him through school conflicts and challenges. Between fights, players can walk around the school, spend time with Budi’s girlfriend, complete homework with friends, and collect 20 items. The game presents high school as both a social setting and a combat arena, with consequences involving arrest and academic failure.
