What is Trench Tales?
This solo-created Early Access project takes place in a surreal landscape scarred by long-running war.
Players move between linked areas, rummage through damaged trenches and shelters, and engage enemies with close-range weapons, guns, and supernatural skills. The firearm selection covers pistols, automatic weapons, precision rifles, and larger arms. Weapon changes can affect barrels, stocks, sights, grips, sound suppression, and recoil handling. Abilities let characters slow time, emit energy waves, restore health, or view areas beyond walls. Salvaged materials provide modest equipment improvements. With limited conversation and only occasional cinematic sequences, much of the mystery emerges from the surroundings. The developer plans to expand the game with additional content, refinements, and capabilities while it remains in Early Access.
