Our take on Treasure Atlas
The store presentation highlights the 3D setting and class division, but the described play loop focuses on map events, deck building, and turn-based combat. It does not explain how the class division affects those systems.
What is Treasure Atlas?
Treasure Atlas is a three-dimensional adventure role-playing game set in a cursed world broken into separate regions.
Characters travel across a map by triggering events that may grant buffs, impose debuffs, summon monsters, or open dungeon areas. Combat proceeds in turns, with deck-based play requiring decisions about cards and available resources. The world map changes for every adventure, so exploration presents a different arrangement of challenges and possibilities each time. Players build a deck during the journey to suit that run. The narrative centers on explorers visiting the remains of a formerly peaceful civilization, attempting to recover its former glory and uncover its history. The game also features distinct character classes.
