What is The Under?
The Under follows a young boy trapped in a realm separated from the living world.
Progress involves exploring four distinct areas, solving environmental puzzles, collecting fairies, and learning rules that change throughout the game. Gravity-based mechanics include reversing gravitational direction, gaining a double-jump ability, and using portals to move through the environment. The game introduces additional mechanics as obstacles become more demanding. Three playable characters are available. A possible route back to the world above is connected to mastering the realm and reaching a rumored fifth dimension. The setting is presented as dark and mysterious, with the player navigating unfamiliar spaces while adapting to shifting systems and hazards.
