Our take on Over The Void
The bounce point arrives when traversal demands precision above the Void: players can be calmly taking in the abstract scenery, then lose progress through a single misplaced step. The contrast between relaxed presentation and fall-sensitive movement defines the main hurdle.
What is Over The Void?
Explore a strange 3D universe made of abstract bridges, caves, colors, forms, and music.
Each of the 9 levels presents a separate world connected by the Void. Progress requires finding ways to open doors positioned above it, using available tools to move through three-dimensional spaces. Gravity creates the main hazard: a misplaced step can send the character falling. The game combines wandering and visual contemplation with platforming that requires dexterity, including placing platforms in the air and jumping across them. Its stated aim is a relaxed experience rather than a rescue story, with no princess to save. Levels are unlocked as the exploration continues.
