Our take on Caliper 2
The store presentation foregrounds the variety of object behaviors, but gives little sense of the broader level structure or how long the puzzle sequence lasts. The core objective is clear; the overall scope is less so.
What is Caliper 2?
Caliper 2 is a turn-based puzzle game built around moving objects with different shared and special properties.
Each level requires placing an object on a button before entering the portal. New object types appear every five levels, expanding the interactions available for solving the puzzles. Stone is a basic object, while blocks slide across snow and ice can be kicked. Carts transport blocks, rubble stops ice, coal melts snow and ice, and a freezer changes objects into ice. A flamethrower melts ice, while twin objects mirror one another’s movements. The game presents these object interactions as the basis for finding solutions across its levels.
