- Players looking for non-VR gameplay will not fit the game's VR-only format.
Our take on The Slothgate Experiment
The bounce point arrives at the interaction system: players must manage a full-body avatar, weighted objects, ledge pulling, and slow motion in VR. Those unfamiliar with advanced VR may struggle before the horror elements become the main challenge, while loud scares and flashing lights create a second barrier.
What is The Slothgate Experiment?
Set in Los Angeles, The Slothgate Experiment is a VR horror title centered on physics.
Two weeks after beginning warehouse employment, Oliver Franklin is abducted and brought to Slothgate. This follow-up to The Creature Zone VR expands the narrative with new stages and mechanics. Players move through a full-body virtual body, handle weight-sensitive objects, pull themselves over ledges using a semi-climbing feature, and activate slow motion. The game targets experienced VR players and contains intense jump scares plus flashing lights. Its survival scenario unfolds 15 feet below ground, with escape from Slothgate as the central objective.
