Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a quiet or low-intensity experience may find the flashing lights, loud sounds, and jump scares overwhelming.
- Players looking for a fixed, story-led campaign may not fit the repeated maze escapes, variable modes, and random events.
- Players who do not want microphone audio involved in detection may prefer a game without voice-reactive enemies.
Our take on CornField
The defining mechanic is the monster's response to microphone audio: speaking can expose a survivor's location, making voice chat part of the escape challenge.
What is CornField?
CornField is a first-person horror game for solo players or online groups of up to five.
Players search a corn maze for items needed to escape while avoiding a monster that detects microphone audio. Survivors can run, hide, and use found items to defend themselves. Some modes let one participant become the killer. The full version includes multiple maps, game modes, difficulty settings, random events, and progression for survivor and killer roles. Multiplayer voice chat changes with distance, and the killer can hear players. The game contains flashing lights, loud sounds, and frequent jump scares.
