Our take on The Promised Land
Its defining structure is the combination of colony administration and technology research: worker assignments, production plans, and Academy experience all shape the settlement’s development.
What is The Promised Land?
Lead a small group of settlers as they build a functioning colony in an untamed land.
The game combines production management with science progression: provide food and shelter, assign jobs, adjust worker roles, and plan output across industries. Citizens have individual temperaments that can affect the colony. Pirates and wild tribes create external threats to settlement growth. An Academy awards experience points that can be spent to gain access to advanced technologies, making research choices part of the colony’s development. The game also includes mini-games, a guided tutorial, a world to explore, and more than 10 hours of gameplay. Up to 50 characters can be controlled by the player.
