Our take on Steel Seed
The blend of stealth, traversal, puzzles, and combat gives Steel Seed a varied structure, but it also divides attention between several systems instead of concentrating on one form of action.
What is Steel Seed?
Steel Seed is a stealth-action adventure set after a catastrophe has made Earth uninhabitable.
Zoe and her flying drone companion, Koby, investigate a machine-built underground facility containing hazards, secrets, and environmental clues. Players can use darkness, diversions, and surroundings to avoid or eliminate enemies, then switch to direct fighting against varied foes and bosses. Parkour and interactive environments support movement and problem-solving. Koby assists with guidance and environmental puzzles, while Zoe can be customized through three skill trees containing 40 upgrades. The story examines survival, trust, control, and the boundary between people and machines. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the full game, a Battlesuits Pack, a digital soundtrack, and a digital artbook with wallpapers.
