Our take on The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie
The pitch gives equal weight to three protagonists, but the additional play spaces are concentrated in the True Reverie Corridor: recruited characters, randomized dungeons, and mini-games sit alongside the story arcs rather than replacing them.
What is The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie?
The story follows Rean Schwarzer, Lloyd Bannings, and a masked figure known as “C” as new threats affect Erebonia and Crossbell.
The Trails to Walk system lets players move between their three story arcs at any time, with side episodes adding material about characters and Zemuria. In the True Reverie Corridor, players can recruit characters from across Zemuria, explore randomly generated dungeons, and play mini-games. Battles use Arts, Brave Orders, and tactical choices, with the United Front system bringing the team together for combat. The game’s structure combines three connected storylines with optional episodes, character recruitment, dungeons, and mini-games.
