What is The Haunted Building?
The Haunted Building: The Locksmith on the First Floor is a horror adventure set in Cheung Wing House, a 1990s Hong Kong public housing block facing demolition.
Lee Shing, a young part-time security guard, must collect relocation consent forms from tenants who have not moved out. His work leads to an investigation involving unsettling residents, rumored spirits, buried truths, and a locksmith living on the first floor. Player choices affect the story and determine multiple endings, including whether tenants live or die and whether Lee Shing survives.
Some revelations require repeated playthroughs. The game presents its story through a suspense-drama style, uses Cantonese voice acting, and depicts the housing block with 3D models. Additional chapters are described as being in development.
