This story-led detective adventure follows Kobayashi Masayuki, a police investigator who transfers to a new city to avoid someone he dislikes, only to face a major enemy and hidden conspiracy.
The remastered edition includes four main chapters: a child disappearance, a midnight visitor, a locked-room revenge case, and a search for the real culprit. An additional chapter covers his student years. Gameplay includes escape-room puzzles, logic deduction, suspect confrontations, character conversations through a phone, and a light-bulb system that reveals the detective’s thoughts and possible clues. The computer remake adds voice acting, horizontal artwork, new and redrawn illustrations, revised confrontation sequences, shake-based interaction, and Cantonese voice work for some older Hong Kong characters.
