Detective Cheng You travels to the Lin family home after a reported assault and uncovers links to older unsolved mysteries. Players examine evidence at an analysis desk, organize clues in a police notebook, reconstruct deductions, and assess witness statements for lies. Conversations through the game's messaging system provide further leads. Investigation locations include streets and other important sites, with puzzles tied to each case. Some scenes use two protagonists working together to solve puzzles. Cheng You investigates alongside police colleague Su Jin, with assistance from friends, a forensic examiner, and a streamer.
