Our take on The Deal
The store copy foregrounds a broad feature list and calls the adventure more than 10 hours, while the numbered details specify over 12 hours. Its scope is substantial for a short adventure, but the description gives little sense of how much depth the side systems add.
What is The Deal?
The Deal follows four adventurers—Cyrus, Myrella, Jonathan, and Donna—across the colorful continent of Carca.
The story combines exploration, problem-solving, cave discovery, monster battles, treasure hunting, and a search for four golden chickens. Visible encounters lead into combat, while more than 20 side quests include traditional and instanced activities. Three repeatable events provide additional activities, and equipment includes more than 250 armor pieces, accessories, and weapons, plus a legendary weapon for each character. Four artifacts reveal hidden locations and items. Players can manage a personal camp, complete minigames and puzzles, and make choices that affect the ending. Controls support touch, keyboard, mouse, and gamepad input.
