What is The Cold Forest?
After crashing on an island, the injured character has a limited goal: reach a lighthouse and signal rescuers to locate the crashed plane and its medicines and vaccines.
The character continues to bleed and will eventually die, while exposure and hunger can also prove fatal. Players move through a cold forest, weighing each step and searching for food or a nearby fire. The journey is framed as a survival walking simulator with one life, so the route to the lighthouse must be completed before the character succumbs to injury, cold, or starvation.
