Our take on CATRUN
The defining mechanic is fall acceleration: Philip can speed up while descending, adding a timing-based movement choice to the runner format.
What is CATRUN?
CATRUN follows Philip, a cat searching the city for a secret supply of food after his friend Bob tells him about it.
The journey crosses urban areas and includes garbage dumps, traps, obstacles, and wolves pursuing the same stash. Players guide Philip through runner-style sections, avoid threats, gather collectibles and power-ups, and use accelerated falling to move through challenges. The story follows Philip’s attempt to change his circumstances and reach the stash despite hostile animals and dangerous routes. Different parts of the metropolis provide varied environments, while the gameplay combines continuous movement, obstacle navigation, enemy evasion, item collection, and an adventure about Philip and Bob.
