Our take on The Ball
Its focus on a compact, puzzle-led single-player campaign limits the scope of progression and replay variety. The additional Survival mode and hidden secrets add optional objectives, but the core experience remains a fixed adventure through 8 main levels.
What is The Ball?
Play as an archaeologist trapped inside ancient ruins beneath a dormant Mexican volcano.
The single-player adventure combines first-person exploration with physics-based puzzles, traps, and combat against creatures including mummies and an undead gorilla. The Ball serves as both a mysterious artifact to control and the main means of defense. The campaign contains 8 levels and is described as lasting 8 hours. A bonus Survival mode adds 4 more levels. Exploration also includes an underground train and a Ball Chariot, while 35 hidden secrets, achievements, and leaderboards provide additional objectives.
