- Players looking for a game without pursuit-based tension may find the evasion-focused exploration unsuitable.
Our take on AccidentHouse
Rather than centering only on discovering a haunted setting, this horror game makes a flashlight part of the threat-management loop: its light can weaken enemies or draw them away. Its short, choice-led story also uses multiple endings.
What is AccidentHouse?
AccidentHouse is a short first-person horror game about a protagonist who goes to an abandoned house at night after a friend calls, only to find the friend missing.
Exploration centers on a flashlight: threats react to its light, which can weaken them or draw them away. Limited visibility shapes how players assess the house and evade pursuers while investigating an incident from two years earlier. Choices affect the protagonist’s fate, with multiple possible endings. The game connects to the QuietMansion series’ earlier events and can be played without the previous titles.
It takes approximately 1–2 hours to complete. After finishing, players can try Oni Mode, described as brutally difficult, or use the BGM selection feature. Motion sickness reduction options are available.
