Our take on The Alto Collection
Rather than using a conventional stage-by-stage adventure structure, the collection builds its play around extended downhill journeys. Zen Mode also removes scores, coins and power-ups, replacing those systems with an uninterrupted ride through the mountain or desert.
What is The Alto Collection?
The Alto Collection includes Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Odyssey, two journeys built around snowboarding and sandboarding across alpine slopes, dunes, canyons, woodlands and ruins.
Players perform backflips, grinds, wall rides, wingsuiting and other tricks while pursuing more than 120 levels and 360 goals. The collection includes seven characters with different attributes and abilities, online leaderboards and a workshop containing upgrades. Dynamic lighting, weather, wind vortexes, rushing water, hot-air balloons and moving rails vary the environments. Zen Mode removes scores, coins and power-ups, while Photo Mode provides panning and zooming tools for framing scenes from the pause screen.
