Our take on Supplice
Its emphasis on rapid firefights and weapon experimentation leaves less room for slower exploration or role-playing systems. The retro shooter structure favors immediate combat over broader mechanical variety.
What is Supplice?
Supplice is a retro-styled shooter set in a future where humanity has expanded beyond Earth.
Players take the role of an engineer working with a terraforming team when biomechanical creatures appear on new worlds. Combat features rapid encounters with large enemies and a varied arsenal, including industrial drills, flamethrowers, conventional firearms, and experimental weapons. Some weapons also have alternate uses: the minigun can become a stationary sentry gun, while the flamethrower can release flammable gas that can then be ignited. The game combines colorful pixel art with fast-paced action and a story that travels to distant parts of the universe.
