What is Suhoshin?
Suhoshin is a 2D visual novel set during Korea’s medieval Joseon period.
Yuri, a young man newly employed as a guard, returns home after a long absence and becomes involved in a series of unexplained deaths. The investigation reveals a wider problem as players make decisions that direct the story along different routes and toward different conclusions. The game includes an in-menu reference for Korean expressions and dialect, plus a flowchart for revisiting earlier decisions. Its presentation features traditional clothing, period-inspired environments, character illustrations, more than 20 backgrounds with day and night variants, and character art showing varied expressions across 10 main characters. Additional CG artwork supports the visual novel presentation.
