Our take on Palais de Reine
Its defining structure is a one-year test of rule: Filia selects four nobles, sends them on diplomatic quests, and decides whether authority or romance will shape the kingdom's future.
What is Palais de Reine?
Palais de Reine combines a visual novel with a strategic simulation about Filia, the sole heiress to a late king.
The nobles grant her one year to prove she can rule the divided kingdom. During that period, she selects four nobles from various candidates to support her campaign. They undertake quests to neighboring kingdoms, where Filia must win the support of allies and foes and work toward uniting the land.
The game also includes romantic decisions: Filia may choose a consort, accept a marriage that transfers authority, or pursue a relationship with another knight who could inherit the throne. The outcome depends on whether she seeks personal happiness, leadership, or both. This remastered edition omits changing clothes and changing patterns because some source materials lacked sufficient resolution.
