Our take on Revenant March
The story places language and diplomacy alongside supernatural power, making conversation a central response to conflict rather than a break from it. Its structure also replaces a single conclusion with two possible finales and a further epilogue.
What is Revenant March?
Revenant March centers on Olenine, an exorcist who has traveled for seven years since the destruction of her home.
She commands spiritual essences in confrontations with supernatural beings and knows enough inhuman languages to negotiate instead of relying solely on force. Her assignment is to save a merchant’s daughter inside Gremach, a stronghold surrounded by ghouls. As Olenine investigates, she uncovers a feud lasting through generations along with concealed truths tied to her own past.
This Canadian visual novel contains about 55,000 words and takes around three hours to complete. Decisions lead to different routes and two endings; viewing both opens a further epilogue. Its presentation includes more than 30 character sprites, 17 pieces of scenery, 19 special illustrations, and 15 original musical tracks.
