Our take on Sparklite
Rather than keeping its world fixed, the game uses periodic Disruptions to rearrange Geodia and reset the Baron’s progress. Its action-adventure structure also combines changing exploration with gadget-based puzzle solving, collectible hunts, Refuge construction, and optional local co-op.
What is Sparklite?
Sparklite is a top-down action-adventure set in Geodia, a changing world powered by blue ore.
Ada travels across five procedurally generated zones, shutting down the Baron’s Digsites and battling his henchmen and gremlin Titans. Combat uses gadgets, guns, and other gear, while inventions also solve puzzles. Periodic Disruptions rearrange the world and hinder the Baron’s mining operation. The game includes collectible hunting, encounters with Geodia’s inhabitants, and construction of The Refuge. Ada can also rescue a robotic sidekick for local assistive co-op. The Digital Deluxe Edition contains the full game, an original soundtrack, and a digital artbook.
