Our take on Space Scaven
The focus on physical puzzles and environmental problem-solving limits the role of direct combat and open exploration. Mistakes can also end a puzzle attempt through a dead end or fatal outcome, making experimentation carry a clear cost.
What is Space Scaven?
Play as an engineer collecting valuable black boxes from abandoned space stations.
Each level combines physical puzzles, environmental interaction, traps, and potentially fatal mistakes. Objects such as boxes, buttons, doors, and lasers can be manipulated, while equipment includes a hook for moving items, a laser pistol for clearing obstacles, and welding gear for repairing facilities. Oxygen must be monitored during spacewalks and inside depressurized modules. The game includes 50 levels arranged across 5 episodes, with puzzles that can have multiple solutions. Encounters with extraterrestrials and an original soundtrack are also part of the game.
