John Benton, a technician, travels to a deserted island to repair communication lines at a research facility.

The episode provides two weapons, a pistol and a shotgun, plus four types of monster insects. Progress can involve fighting these creatures or avoiding them while finding a route through the island. The complete story is planned as four episodes, with Episode 1 focused on the origin of the monster insects.
