What is Soul Device?
Soul Device is a 2D platform shooter with roguelike elements.
The goal is to collect a gun, defeat the enemies in the way, and escape. Runs take place in different laboratories, where varied enemies and bosses stand in the path. Players can retrace their route to prepare, but the space collapses and attacks during a return. Before an escape, players select from 6 soul devices and 12 symbols to shape starting abilities, such as combat strength, durability, or agility. During play, more than 50 items, over 30 equipment pieces, and over 40 weapons can change movement, defense, and attacks. The game also includes future plans for new modes, melee weapons, and other play experiences.
