ActionIs EBOLA worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who want a fictional outbreak investigation rather than a non-story survival game
- Horror players who prefer underground laboratory exploration over outdoor settings
- Players seeking puzzles and item collection alongside combat rather than combat alone
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a relaxed or low-threat experience may find infection, mutated enemies, and survival pressure too intense.
- Players seeking an open-ended world may find the structure focused on one 10-floor underground station and its connected investigation.
- Players who want a non-fictional setting may not be suited to its entirely fictional characters, events, music, and locations.
Our take on EBOLA
The game departs from a standard outbreak thriller by making investigation and survival happen together inside one underground station. Puzzle-solving and item use interrupt the combat and exploration loop, while infection adds a separate threat.
What is EBOLA?
Journalist Logan Johnson enters the underground Mole-529 station to investigate an outbreak of the fictional E virus and identify who caused the accident.
The station’s staff have mutated, creating a survival threat during the investigation. Exploration covers 10 floors of the scientific and technical facility, with clues, environmental objects, puzzles, and restricted areas. Players can collect and use items to access locations, search for an antivirus, and fight enemies with various weapons. Infection is an ongoing risk. The game presents the station through horror-focused lighting, visual effects, sounds, and music. Its characters, events, music, and locations are fictional.
