Our take on MadMan
The defining constraint is the generator: it controls the light, powers selected hospital wings, and forces excursions for fuel and breaker resets while the Doctor remains active.
What is MadMan?
MadMan is a horror game set across five increasingly difficult night shifts in an abandoned hospital.
The goal is to keep the generator running until six AM while deciding which wings receive power, collecting fuel, resetting breakers, and monitoring the Doctor through security cameras. The Doctor moves between floors, follows the player, searches hiding places, and can drain the generator, forcing movement through dark areas. A second presence alters the hospital and creates misleading sounds and events. Exploration involves a small connected building, backtracking, lift travel, and repeated trips away from the security office. The rebuilt version adds new artificial intelligence, systems, hospital spaces, audio, and reworked gameplay compared with the 2022 release.
