RPGIs Sojo worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Online RPG players who want persistent-world exploration and class-based progression
- Small groups seeking quests, dungeon challenges, and cooperative combat
- Players who enjoy active combat alongside crafting, gathering, puzzles, and PvP
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a finished RPG rather than a game currently in Phase One of Early Access
- Players who prefer purely turn-based combat without real-time action timing or platforming sections
- Solo players looking for an experience centered entirely on individual play, since some challenges involve allies
- Players who want a single-currency economy, since the game uses multiple currencies with location-dependent exchange rates
Our take on Sojo
Its persistent online design trades a fully finished scope for an evolving Early Access experience. Progression also depends on gear, class traits, crafting, and group play, which may feel less focused than a short, self-contained RPG campaign.
What is Sojo?
Sojo is an online RPG set in a persistent world with open-world exploration, platforming puzzles, hidden secrets, and challenging objectives.
Combat uses an active turn-based system in which players and enemies act whenever their actions are ready. Four classes progress through linear levels, items, and alternate advancement traits, with a level 20 maximum and five current content tiers. The game includes more than 400 hand-made items, 100 abilities, 40 crafting recipes, 70 quests, and 30 character traits. Players can gather resources, craft, trade loot, and group with up to four players. PvP supports one-on-one duels and group battles, while day-night cycles affect enemy spawns. Sojo is currently in Phase One of Early Access.
