Our take on Slap City
Rather than stopping at platform-fighter matches, the game adds a team sport mode built around juggling a ball into baskets. It also replaces a single shared campaign structure with a separate platforming story campaign for every main character.
What is Slap City?
Slap City is a platform fighting game with local and online play for up to four players.
Matches include ranked online one-on-one battles, several game modes, computer-controlled opponents, and replay saving. Its Slap Ball mode puts teams on a court, where players strike a ball into the opposing basket and earn more points by keeping it airborne. Players can recover damage near their goal. Each main character has a distinct playstyle, while Clutch Technology adds a dedicated button with a special function. Outside competitive matches, a single-player platforming story campaign is available for every main character.
