Our take on Skytropolis
Rather than spreading development across a conventional city map, the game concentrates architecture, infrastructure, economy, and citizen management inside one upward-growing skyscraper. Its optional room-scale VR mode also shifts city building from a conventional monitor-based view to a space experienced from within.
What is Skytropolis?
Construct a vertical megacity from an initial plot of land, deciding its architecture, interior layout, economy, and environmental direction.
Expansion requires balancing the tower’s growing needs with resource use, citizen welfare, and sustainable infrastructure. Career mode presents demanding challenges with rewards, while sandbox mode provides an open-ended building format. More than 50 modules can be unlocked for the megacity. The game supports desktop play and virtual reality, including room-scale VR, allowing management from a monitor or movement among citizens. Completed cities can be shared through Steam Workshop.
